Eddie Guerrero 1967 - 2005 |
It was the greatest shock to ever hit the wrestling world. Still to this day I can not believe it, It just won't register, nor does it seem real. The death of the late, great Eddie Guerrero has bought the wrestling world together as one. The wrestling world from europe to america, from Japan to Australia and Mexico to England has become one, and cries as one. On behalf of Perth wrestling and myself we would like to send our condolences out to the Guerrero family. We are thinking of you, and we always will. Eddie touched us all in such an inspiring way, although a lot of us have never met him, we felt as if we had known him forever. Every Friday, we would welcome him into our homes and we were gauranteed an awesome and entertaining show from this great man who cared so much for the fans, lived for the business but mostly, loved his family. I can not help but feel a great sadness and think of how cruel and unfare this world is. To leave the people who just take, take, take, but vanquish the ones we love, the people who would have given anything for the happiness of those around them. Eddie found peace in that ring, every time he stepped into it. He was an insperation, an idol, a role model and a friend to us all. If anything, we can all find light in this dark forrest knowing that Eddie is with god, Eddie is with his father. I think every person in the wrestling world can learn something from eddie, as a human being and as a performer. There's so much politics and pure bullshit that is slung around the wrestling world these days, no one realizes that we all strive for the same goal, as different as we all may be. We have all been disrespectful to the business that has been so great in one way or another. The reason for that is, we all take the time that is given to us for granted, we all reach a point and believe that it is our peak where in reality we could accomplish so much more in this world. Eddie's passion for the business far surpassed anyone i have met that is involved in this business. We join hands in this hard time, and we combine our hearts as one as we send our love, prayers and thanks to Eddie, His wife and 3 daughters, Chavo, Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn and the entire Guerrero family. We will never forget the great man that was Eddie Guerrero, and we will forever be in debt for everything he has given us. EDDIE! EDDIE! EDDIE! EDDIE! Thank you Eddie and goodbye, Siempre Recordado mi amigo, Te quiero mi hombre... VIVA LA RAZA!!!
